@thefishmish is a UK charity dedicated to supporting active and former fishermen, and their families, through some of life’s toughest moments. Working in one of the most dangerous industries in the country, fishermen often face injury, financial hardship, and isolation.

The Fishermen’s Mission provides vital, practical support, from emergency grants and financial advice to wellbeing services and emotional care, ensuring no one in the fishing community has to face hardship alone.

Operating in ports around the UK, the charity offers a lifeline when it’s needed most, whether that’s following an accident at sea, during illness, or through challenging personal circumstances.

By supporting the Fishermen’s Mission through events like the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon, fundraisers play a crucial role in helping the charity continue its essential work, providing care, stability, and hope to those who keep our coastal communities alive.
