What’s going on
There is lots going on at the Event Village all weekend for participants and supporters.
Whether itโs some new gear to run in, some fuel to get you around, something to help you recover or some last minute running essentials, youโll be spoilt for choice at the Expo.
Tune in to our guest speakers on Saturday or chill with some live Scottish music.
There will also be street food, pop-up bars, family fun activities, local bands and pipes & drums.

Eye-tracking technology has confirmed Baxters Loch Ness Marathon as the 3RD MOST BEAUTIFUL MARATHON in the WORLD! ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
To compile this list, @sportsshoes presented 300 participants from around the globe with images from more than 50 popular marathons worldwide.
Using eye-tracking technology, they measured which courses caught peopleโs attention the fastest and held it the longest. From that data, each marathon received an eye-catching score out of 100.
Baxters Loch Ness Marathon course earned a score of 88/100 and sits proudly on the podium, just behind @teambsmf Big Sur International Marathon (USA) and The Great Wall Marathon (China).
